Delivery and Shipping Policy

At Brand Chemical Supplies, we prioritize the safe, compliant, and timely transit of chemical products across South Africa. All shipments are handled in accordance with the National Road Traffic Act and the SANS 10231 standards for the transport of dangerous goods.

1. Shipping Rates & Destinations

Service Area: We provide nationwide delivery across all nine provinces of South Africa.
Standard Shipping: A flat-rate shipping fee may apply based on your region and the weight of the order. This is calculated at checkout.
Free Delivery: We offer free standard delivery on all orders over R5,000 (VAT incl.), excluding specialized hazardous cargo that requires dedicated vehicle transport.

2. Order Processing & Handling Time

Handling Time: Orders are typically processed and prepared within 1–2 business days.
Documentation: Every shipment includes the necessary Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) where applicable.
Cut-off Time: Orders placed after 2:00 PM (SAST) will be processed the following business day.

3. Transit Times

Estimated delivery times after the handling period:

Gauteng: 1–3 business days.
Major Hubs (CT, Durban, PE): 3–5 business days.
Regional/Outlying Areas: 5–7 business days.

4. Specialized Chemical Handling

Due to the nature of our products, certain items are classified as Dangerous Goods.

UN-Approved Packaging: All chemicals are packed in UN-certified containers to prevent leaks and environmental contamination.
Specialized Couriers: We use registered hazmat couriers for restricted substances. Please ensure a qualified person is available to sign for and receive these goods.
Collection: Customers may choose to collect from our warehouse in [Insert City, e.g., Germiston] at no additional cost. Collections must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.

5. Delivery Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email and/or SMS notification containing your tracking number and a link to the courier’s tracking portal.

6. Delivery Issues & Damaged Goods

Inspection upon Receipt: Please inspect all containers for leaks or damage before signing the Proof of Delivery (POD).
Damaged Shipments: If a product is damaged or leaking upon arrival, do not accept the delivery. Request the driver to return it to the depot and contact us immediately at [Insert Phone Number].
Incorrect Items: Any discrepancies between the delivered goods and the tax invoice must be reported within 48 hours.

7. Delivery Restrictions

We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes; a physical street address is required.
Delivery to mines, power stations, or high-security sites may incur a “Surcharge Area” fee and require prior gate clearance.
